Follow your bliss…

Lysa_photoMy creative career began in 1996 when, after completing design school, I was incredibly fortunate to land jobs that offered steady advancement — from graphic designer to marketing communications manager, creating projects for businesses around the world.

And then, designing my own engagement and wedding albums, I found my bliss…

I told my husband, “Fifty years from now, I want us to have a shelf lined with these albums, spanning all sorts of special occasions in our life — our engagement, our wedding, the birth of our children and our grandchildren, our special vacations. Our life chapters.”

The idea stuck, and when friends and family continued suggesting I start my own design business, LifeChapter was the path that energized my launch.

My business philosophy is simple…
I vow to meet your album or book design & production needs at whatever step you need help most… even as your needs change throughout the year. Design back-up during busy seasons? Absolutely. Album project management year-round? No problem.

I also appreciate the individuals seeking professional design support for their personal or organizational book projects. I’d love to help you create a custom book or album of your precious images, stories, poems, or any other type of content you cherish.

My design approach is straightforward as well…
This is a guaranteed 100% template-free zone! Each of my layouts is custom-crafted on core design principles and sensitivity to your vision and distinguishing style, producing a distinctive and compelling dialogue between imagery and story line.

Some other random things about me…

  • Favorite Person: my husband and best friend, Mark
  • Fuzziest Friend: Prescott, our 16-year old terrier who is infinitely adorable and cuddly
  • A Few Things I Enjoy: creating, cycling, hiking, yoga, kickboxing, playing piano, wine tasting, and quality time with friends and family.
